On April 4, 2006 Capt. Mioni and Maj. Grolla made their first solo flight on the Mirage 2000. From left, Maj. Grolla, Capt. Mioni, Capt. Paul, Col. Heraldo (head of the Brazilian AF staff commissioned at Orange AB) and Capt. Da Rocha celebrate the occasion. Capt. Da Rocha was the initial flight instructor of Maj. Grolla and Capt. Paul the initial instructor of Capt. Mioni.
