The Ramex Delta team of the French Air Force (Armée de l'Air) consists of a tactical display of two Mirage 2000N fighter-bombers from Escadron de Chasse 02.004 La Fayette. Based at BA125 Istres, EC 2/4 forms part of France's Strategic Air Forces and tasked with the nuclear strike role using the Mirage 2000N tactical fighter-bomber capable of deploying the ASMP air-launched nuclear missile.
Launched in 2012, the duo display is of course flown without the nuclear missile and focuses more on presenting a display of low-level two-ship tactical flying. The display is fast-paced utilizing the Mirage 2000N's afterburner like the former Mirage 2000C demo, while the tight two-ship formation flying reminds us of the AdlA Jaguar duo display of the past.
