The Russian Knights aerobatic group is the Russian Air Force's Su-27 formation display team. The team has flown Su-27 single-seat and Su-27UB two-seat aircraft. The team also received some early Su-35 from the Su-27M series in the past, but as the variant was not taken into service the aircraft was soon abandoned in favor of the regular Flankers.
In late 2016 the Russian Knights received new Su-30SM two-seat multi-role fighters to re-equip the team. It remains to be seen if in the near future the new single-seat Su-35S will join them. The Russian Knights flew the Su-30SM internationally at LIMA '17.
