USAF Air Combat Command F-16 Demonstration Team

The Air Combat Command’s F-16 Viper Demo returned in 2015 to resume single-ship demonstrations using the F-16, as the ACC F-16 Viper East/West Demo Teams of the past had been cancelled following the 2013 sequester affecting the support for aerial events. For 2015 the Viper Demo team consisted of a F-16CJ Fighting Falcon from the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw AFB, SC, piloted by Capt. Craig “Rocket” Baker.

In addition to the solo display, the Viper Demo also performs the USAF Heritage Flight, teaming up with one or more warbirds flown by Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation pilots.

From May 2019, the F-16 Viper Demo Team Commander/Pilot is Maj. Garret Schmitz.
