Air Show Report : RNLAF Open Day 2000 Volkel AB
The annual open day of the Royal Netherlands Air Force was cancelled in 1999 because of the commitment to the war in Kosova. In 2000 the RNLAF made up for it with a nice static and flying display, including the Red Arrows display team. It was also the debut of the Eurofighter Typhoon and Dassault Rafale, making it a special show. But unfortunately the weather was as bad as it can get. Raining all the day and no sunshine. Here you will find a small selection of the best pictures taken that day.
