Portfolio Des Brennan

It has taken me most of 2009 so far to start on my portfolio so apologies if it takes just as long to complete it.

My main interest is Modern Military Aviation and most of my photography takes place at Scotland's three main RAF bases - Leuchars, Lossiemouth and Kinloss.

Since 'going digital' in the mid 90s I have increased my Civil Aviation photography and (in decreasing frequency) this is mainly carried out at Dundee (Riverside), Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

While sample covers will appear in due course I have a regular column titled 'Scaled Up' in what was Model Aircraft Monthly and is now Military Aircraft Monthly covering contemporary full-size military aircraft subjects. I have also had work published in Air Forces Monthly, Aviation News (previously Air Pictorial), Scale Aircraft Modeller International, Scale Aircraft Modelling and Radio Active magazines. The five page Tornado GR.4 walkround section in SAM publications AirData2 Panavia Tornado IDS book is also mainly my work.

On the internet I have articles here on Milavia as well as a selection of photographs both civil and military which can be found searching under my name at www.runway30.com along with a few images on other sites which I will add in due course.
