Located on the Turkish Air Force's 3rd Main Jet Base Command at Konya, the Anatolian Eagle Training Centre (AETC) organizes and hosts the Anadolu Kartali (Anatolian Eagle) series of live air exercises. The AETC includes a dedicated ramp and a purpose-built facility for (de)briefings and command and control centre for White HQ, which organizes, monitors and runs each mission. Participants fly Combined Air Operations as Blue Force, while Red Force consists of real and simulated threats. The first Anatolian Eagle exercise of 2014 took place in April for the Turkish Air Force, the second and third this year are both multinational exercises.
Anatolian Eagle 2014-2 took place between June 9 and 20. Aside from the Turkish Air Force, Anatolian Eagle 14-2 was attended by the Ejercito del Aire (Spain), Royal Air Force (UK), Qatar Emiri Air Force (Qatar), Royal Jordanian Air Force (Jordan), supported by NATO AWACS, and observers from several other countries.
