Exercise Anatolian Eagle 2015-1

Located on the Turkish Air Force's 3rd Main Jet Base Command at Konya, the Anatolian Eagle Training Centre (AETC) organizes and hosts the Anadolu Kartali (Anatolian Eagle) series of live air exercises. The AETC includes a dedicated ramp and a purpose-built facility for (de)briefings and command and control centre for White HQ, which organizes, monitors and runs each mission. Participants fly Combined Air Operations as Blue Force, while Red Force consists of real and simulated threats.
In 2015 the first Anatolian Eagle exercise took place in June. In addition to the Turkish Air Force international participants included the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Spanish Air Force (EdA), Royal Air Force (RAF), U.S. Air Forces Europe (USAFE). Support in addition to the Turkish E-7T AEW&C was provided by a NATO AEW&C Flight's E-3 Sentry and a German Air Force (Luftwaffe) A310 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT). The Turkish Army also participated with T-129 attack helicopters as well as S-70 BlackHawk.
