Second-hand Mirage acquisitions from France in the 1990s resulted in 33 5F and 6 IIIDF being added, the 5Fs were upgraded to ROSE II/III configuration for the attack role. Pakistan also obtained from Libya its remaining Mirage 5D/5DE fleet, estimated to be 50 airframes including some 5DD two-seaters, mostly for spares. In 2017 the PAF celebrated 50 years of Mirage service 1967-2017. |
