A Russian multipurpose fighter bomber may get a one-seat variant as an attack aircraft, Russia’s Aerospace Force ex-commander and Chairman of the Federation Council Defense and Security Committee Viktor Bondarev told TASS on Wednesday.

Sukhoi Exceeds Target for Su-34 Bomber Deliveries In 2015
Today a pair of Su-34 frontline bombers took off from the airfield of the Sukhoi Company’s branch — Novosibirsk Aircraft Plant, and headed to the place of their deployment at one of the aircraft bases of the Russian Air and Space Forces. Today’s delivery of the Su-34s signifies the fulfillment of the State Defense Order 2015 on those aircraft. The Sukhoi Company also handed over two aircraft above the initial plan. They will fly to the place of deployment in the coming days.

Russian Su-34 Bombers Strike ISIL-Controlled Oil Facilities
Russian Su-34 bombers have launched strikes on ISIL-controlled oil facilities and fuel trucks, Russia's General Staff said Wednesday. About 500 terrorists' fuel trucks that had been illegally transporting oil from Syria to Iraq were destroyed by Russian aviation in a few days, Col. Gen. Andrei Kartapolov, Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said.

Sukhoi delivers five Su-34 bombers
Five series-produced Su-34 bombers took off from the V.P. Chkalov airfield of the Novosibirsk Aircraft Production Association (NAPO) on December 25th for delivery to Voronezh air base of the Western Military District. The state contract for supply of 32 Su-34 frontline bombers to the Russian Defense Ministry was signed in 2008. Following the completion of joint state acceptance testing in September 2011, another state contact was signed in March 2012 for supply of 92 aircraft up to the year 2020.
